The NBA announced the participants for the 2026 Rising Stars challenge tonight. The G League roster features four current two-way contract players (Ron Harper Jr., David Jones Garcia, Alijah Martin and Tristen Newton) as well as one G League player (Sean East of the Salt Lake City Stars). Former two-way players Cam Spencer and Ajay Mitchell will be suiting up for Team Sophomore.
Alijah Martin put together a quality all-around performance tonight in what was just his fifth career game. The rookie scored nine points while grabbing eight boards and four steals, setting a new career-high in each category as Toronto beat Philly in OT.
