October 17th, 2025The Heat have filled their vacant two-way slot with Jahmir Young. Young, a sophomore guard out of Maryland, had some huge performances in Summer League this past July and looked sharp in preseason as well. He's a bucket! Congrats, Jahmir!

Heat acquire Jahmir Young's G League rights
September 11th, 2025In a three-team deal, the Sioux Falls Skyforce (Miami's G League affiliate) acquired the returning rights to Jahmir Young, who they recently signed to an Exhibit 10 deal. This will keep Young in the team's system even if they release him after training camp.
Jahmir Young gets audition with Heat on Exhibit 10
August 20th, 2025Young, who had a cup of coffee with the Bulls as a rookie last season, will have the opportunity to compete for Miami's open two-way contract spot in training camp. Also fighting for that deal will be Ethan Thompson, who signed an Exhibit 10 with the team earlier this month.
