The lefty Young can really score, so much so that he’s earned the nickname “The G League’s Jalen Brunson.” He averaged 21.7 points and 7.1 assists in the G as a rookie while also spending a short stint with the Chicago Bulls.
Jahmir Young averaged 32.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 10.3 assists, and 2.3 steals on 52.9/36.4/78.6 shooting splits, leading the Skyforce to a 2–1 record during that stretch. He showcased his ability to lead an offense as a three-level scorer and a stellar playmaker. Below are the his box scores during the week.

The Heat have filled their vacant two-way slot with Jahmir Young. Young, a sophomore guard out of Maryland, had some huge performances in Summer League this past July and looked sharp in preseason as well. He's a bucket! Congrats, Jahmir!

In a three-team deal, the Sioux Falls Skyforce (Miami's G League affiliate) acquired the returning rights to Jahmir Young, who they recently signed to an Exhibit 10 deal. This will keep Young in the team's system even if they release him after training camp.
Young, who had a cup of coffee with the Bulls as a rookie last season, will have the opportunity to compete for Miami's open two-way contract spot in training camp. Also fighting for that deal will be Ethan Thompson, who signed an Exhibit 10 with the team earlier this month.
