Brea is one of the best shooters in the world, he just needs a chance to prove it at the NBA level. He made 317 threes in his five collegiate seasons, shooting 43.4% on 4.9 attempts a game. In limited opportunity as a rookie with the Suns, he went 13-30 (43.3%) from deep.

"Brea was viewed as the best three-point shooter in the draft and is proving that in the G-League so far. His ability to create on and off the ball should highlight the potential the guard has when he gets his opportunity."

"The 2025 41st overall pick started his career strong with a solid Summer League performance, highlighted by a 19 point outing. He has stepped his game up even further in the G League, averaging 20 points a night while pouring in 30pts, 6reb and 6ast in a game recently. Brea is doing this with minimal usage, and showing he is much more than just a shooter as his peripheral stats have been solid. He is not undersized and has the talent so it is hard to imagine him being a full time G League player for much longer."
