The NBA announced the participants for the 2026 Rising Stars challenge tonight. The G League roster features four current two-way contract players (Ron Harper Jr., David Jones Garcia, Alijah Martin and Tristen Newton) as well as one G League player (Sean East of the Salt Lake City Stars). Former two-way players Cam Spencer and Ajay Mitchell will be suiting up for Team Sophomore.
Salt Lake City will be playing in the G League Winter Showcase championship after defeating the Stockton Kings tonight. The Stars were led by their star, Elijah Harkless, who scored 27 points in the win. Crafty guard Sean East II and veteran forward Cameron McGriff added 21 and 18, respectively, off the bench.
